Dr Simona Vrabcová is an international higher education policy and strategy expert specialising in cultural diplomacy, internationalisation, and country branding. Her work bridges academic research and applied advisory practice, supporting institutions and governments in navigating complex global education landscapes.

She holds a PhD in Cultural Policy from the University of Warwick, where her research examined the strategic role of national cultural institutions and their impact on international engagement and global narratives. Her work contributes to broader discussions on cultural diplomacy, international cultural relations, and the positioning of countries and institutions on the global stage.

Simona has over a decade of experience working across the UK and Central and Eastern Europe, supporting universities in areas including student recruitment, international partnerships, and cross-border collaboration. She has worked with over 70 institutions and supported large-scale international student mobility initiatives, combining strategic insight with practical delivery.

In addition to her advisory work, she has taught across undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in arts management, cultural policy, and project management. Her teaching supports the development of globally aware graduates with strong critical thinking and professional capabilities.
