Language Education and Pathway Development Helix4HE’s Language Education and Pathway Development service supports universities, language education providers, pathway providers and professional learning organisations as they adapt programmes, delivery models, teaching practices and partnerships to meet changing learner, institutional and market needs. Drawing on experience in language education, TESOL, international student support, curriculum development, educational technology, quality assurance, global engagement and professional adult learning, we provide independent advisory support to strengthen the quality, relevance and sustainability of language education provision. Our support may include language education strategy, curriculum review, pathway development, academic English, professional English training, digital, onsite, online and blended delivery models, international partnership development, learner experience, student support, quality assurance, and alignment with recruitment, progression and employability goals. We also support universities and education organisations exploring the development of new language centres, including advice on purpose, positioning, programme portfolio, staffing, quality frameworks, onsite and online delivery, partnerships, and contribution to wider institutional objectives. This can include online language provision and white-label delivery solutions that are branded, quality assured and integrated into the organisation’s wider education offer. Where appropriate, Helix4HE can support language teacher and academic management recruitment, as well as access to course delivery through partner institutions and specialist networks. We also provide quality assurance, review and inspection-related support for language schools, including academic standards, teaching quality, curriculum coherence, assessment, learner support, student experience, operational readiness, policy alignment and evidence preparation for external review, accreditation or inspection. In addition, Helix4HE offers TESOL teacher training courses and professional development for language educators, including support with AI-informed lesson design, digital learning, blended delivery, learner feedback, digital assessment, classroom engagement and responsible use of educational technology. We help organisations develop language education that supports access, confidence, progression, internationalisation and lifelong learning.
