Dr George Akomas
Leadership, Strategy and Executive Education Specialist

Dr. George Akomas is an academic, leadership educator, executive education practitioner, and leadership coach with experience across higher education, professional learning, curriculum design, and organisational development. He is an academic whose work spans teaching, executive education, leadership development, programme design, and student-centred learning innovation.

George has designed and delivered learning across undergraduate, postgraduate, MBA, DBA, apprenticeship, and executive education contexts, with particular interests in leadership, strategy, organisational behaviour, AI in education, employability, and future skills. His work often focuses on making complex ideas practical, accessible, and relevant for diverse learners and professional audiences.

Alongside his academic role, George has worked with business leaders and organisations through leadership coaching and management development programmes, supporting leaders to navigate change, build stronger teams, manage generational differences, and develop more reflective and adaptive leadership practices. He has also authored and developed extensive teaching materials, module content, textbooks, workshops, and leadership resources across areas such as strategic management, organisational behaviour, corporate governance, family business, entrepreneurship, and emerging technologies.
