He has led the growth and management of multi-million-pound international partnership portfolios, supporting universities in expanding their global presence, diversifying programme provision, and developing sustainable international education strategies.

 

Drawing on experience across partnership development, commercial negotiation, programme expansion and international engagement, Alexander works with institutions to identify growth opportunities, strengthen collaborative partnerships, and enhance international student experience.

 

His expertise includes TNE portfolio development, partnership lifecycle management, international mobility, stakeholder engagement, and the creation of commercially viable partnership models. Alexander also has significant experience in graduate employability and international student mobility, having developed employer partnerships, overseas placement opportunities, and employability initiatives designed to enhance student outcomes and global workplace readiness. His work has included building international employer networks, delivering employability programmes and workshops, and supporting institutions in connecting internationalisation strategies with student progression and career development.

 

Alongside his work in international partnerships, Alexander has contributed to wider institutional internationalisation initiatives including mobility programmes, collaborative online international learning (COIL), summer schools, and intercultural learning. He supports higher education institutions in building international partnerships and employability strategies that deliver sustainable academic, strategic and commercial value.
